Wedding Photography

My philosophy of wedding photography, and perhaps photography in general, is this:
have fun, be pervasive, aim for perfection, grab every moment with keen timing, and be inconspicuous.
A photojournalistic and somewhat non-traditional style is my ideal; to capture each moment as it happens naturally; not drawing attention to myself. If I can grab a slice of time in that split second of a gesture or laugh between people, or a certain connection of eyes, and not let my presence be known and distract, then I'm a step closer to fulfilling my duty and having a great time.
With that said, there will always be the requisite posed photos, during which time I'll need to take control. It's a pleasure to compose these photos as well, but all the while I'm anticipating more natural moments and opportunities to record true droplets of real life. So often we let tiny moments pass us by, not realizing that life is in the details. That's where I step in :-)

With ten years of wedding photography experience, I feel I have grown a keen eye in catching those key little moments, and composing elegant portraits. I have also grown to love the work, finding personal connections with the people at each and every wedding. A die-hard perfectionist, by the end of each day I am exhausted, with a feeling of satisfaction that I've given all of my energy filling my role in your big day.

With weddings, I do not usually sell of myself as an "hourly" photographer, and so I have no specific restrictions on time.
I also do not restrict the number of shots taken, nor number of locations visited throughout the day. In short, my 'rules' are few, and I'm flexible.
