With all portraiture, I generally try to stay away from a typical backdrop-n-lights setup, and instead
use a real space, and natural light as much as possible.... Whether it's someplace familiar and comfortable,
or a natural setting, or just wandering around the city for an hour, seeing what we find, I love
discovering the photo more than engineering it. I know no better way to bring out the
person inside, and to have fun doing it!
